POTD!!!
We’ve been in home improvement mode for the past several weeks due to arrival of several out of town guests this weekend. Actually, Todd has been in home improvement mode as I have been getting home too late to be of any use. He’s done a great job getting everything sorted, fixed, scheduled, and installed. Thanks hon.
Originally we had grand plans for fixing up the backyard. We were going to tackle it ourselves. In our vision there were agave plants, rock rivers, fire pits and a small petting zoo. Due to HOA restrictions however, the petting zoo idea was 86ed. Due to our horrendous work schedules so were the agave plants, rock rivers, and fire pits. We ended up having a small patio built (and new stairs!) by a man named Martin and replacing the dead, dead, dead grass with new sod. It was well worth it as our yard actually looks inviting now. Just to give you an idea on how it looked before picture this: An outdoor rock/metal concert has just finished and the thousands of fans that were in the mosh-pit have left. A strong rain sweeps the field. The grass is trampled, muddy, and makes a slightly horror movie squishing sound when you walk on it. That was our backyard.
On a geek-out note. I just gifted myself the newest Totally Rad Actions; TRA2: The Revenge. I played around with a few of them on these shots and so far I really appreciate my present to myself.
