POTD!!!
I used to sit in this chair when I was a baby. Yes, I was that small once. Now my constant companion frog is enjoying the seat.

KCPOTD!!!
Sometimes I can’t resist getting KC a new toy. This one was weird looking and squeaked. It practically lept off the shelf at me…
POTD!!!
This shot is a continuation in a series I’ve been working on for a few weeks. I tried a few different things (including utilizing the freezer…) and I’m pleased with the results. Hoping to try a gallery view for the rest of the shots.
POTD!!!

I had no photo agenda in mind tonight as I set off with my camera. What I really had in mind was food. Todd and I had a less than stellar meal at a pub and I was looking for some delicious redemption. Unfortunately the light was gorgeous and fading fast so I drove past my food and to the 360 bridge overlook. Of course I was very well prepared for the rocky climb. Wearing flip flops, a dress, and climbing with a bum knee do wonders for one’s ego. I made it to the top only to find a smooching couple going at it behind a tree. Um, lovely. I walked beyond them and snapped away for a while and when they were done with their session I stole their spot.
When I am talking pictures I do not like to be distracted as I feel like I am not putting my mind into the technicalities of the shot. It was with a great sigh that I allowed 2 strangers to sit next to me and strike up a conversation. I hate being rude so I answered their photography questions and tried to shoot at the same time. I managed to get several of the shots I was aiming for but will have to go back at a later date to get the rest.
On the hike back down to my car I almost fell several times as my knee was not playing its supporting role very well. If I could have fired it I would have. My flippin’ flip flop also broke and I had to change into Crocs when I got back to my car. Ugh. I would have just driven barefoot but unfortunately my feet are not big enough to reach the pedals unless I move the seat up into the steering wheel.
KCPOTD!!!
The only reason she is slightly alert in this photo is because I promised her a cookie if she stayed in the Crocs long enough for me to take a photo. Other than that, she was not amused.
POTD!!!
Bull Creek is disappearing with the summer heat. The water that you see in this shot used to happily gurgle its way over those rocks in the lower left corner. Now it is mostly non-moving and a muckish color. Our usual spot still had some moving water but won’t be pleasant for much longer and that makes me a sad photographer/enjoyer of naturey crap.
